InterOp New York (September 29-October 1, 2014) was an action-packed show with more than 5,000 attendees and 125 exhibitors.
Shane O’Neill of InformationWeek covered the show and developed his list of seven cool products at the show. His seven picks included a wide variety of products from SDN and BYOD to PaaS, data center management and beyond. They include:
- HP SDN App Store – first enterprise-grade ecosystem for SDN apps
- JAMF Software’s Casper Suite – helps companies manage their BYOD programs
- Mobile Helix Link – an app that lets business users quickly access work data, files and workflow using personal smartphones and tablets
- Opengear IM7200 Information Manager – helps IT teams manage network, server and power infrastructure across data centers
- ActiveState – Platform-as-a-Service based on VMware’s open-source Cloud Foundry platform
- Humanscale – workplace ergonomics furniture including desks, monitor stands, chairs, and more.
- ESET Remote Administrator Plugin for Kaseya – for security monitoring
